As the dying day fades
To a night black and gray…

Flowers fell from her hair
As she danced in the square…

You sleep through the night
Just to dream through the day…

Pillars of stone
Form a circular home
For a saucer of secrets
That will never be known…

Forget the water
That’s needed to grow…

In the darkness of space
The glass walkway’s unseen…

Solvent dissolves
With whispers of when
It was whole…

Ripples in the water
As a fish attempts to fly…

The infinite nothing
A fractal of zeroes…
