Avian mockery
Spiraling down…

How do we make ourselves
Worth what we take…

Twin blades of light
Cut the fabric of night…

Tired of sleeping
Through the party of life…

A string becomes two
As scissors cut through…

Where darkness blooms
Like flowers in Spring…

Torn away by the wind
Carried off in a breath…

Though water lacks flavor
Its taste brings relief…
