Feeling the Earth
As it trembles in fear
As asteroids and black holes
Are wandering near
The plates keep on shifting
Like chattering teeth
Keeping clandestine
The layers beneath
As buildings collapse
It just couldn’t care less
The forces of nature
Make fear unrepressed
As it spins through the void
Trying hard to avoid
The stones it exists with
So they’re not both destroyed
