Blink the world away
Hide from perception
For only a moment
Don’t see what your brain
Is now trying to convey

But keep them closed for too long
You’d might as well be just dead
Don’t sew them up
Just take a break
The time will come
To come awake
So flex those lids
And concentrate
Don’t fall asleep
For goodness sake
The world is alive
So might as well bring it
Your life is your life
So you might as well live it
It’s not easy to fight
When your eyes are both crossed
But try to be focused
